Yes, Melbourn Scientific is included in the UK Department of Health GLP monitoring programme and performs all work in accordance with the principles of Good Laboratory Practice. We take compliance with GLP and other regulatory regimes extremely seriously. We provide full training for staff and are continuously upgrading their skills.

What are your business hours?
Melbourn Scientific is open 8 am to 6 pm UK time, Monday to Friday. However, because our clients' deadlines are as important to us as they are to you, you'll often find dedicated people still at work at Melbourn Scientific after 6pm.

Do you subcontract work?
No. If Melbourn Scientific cannot handle your project for any reason we will say so straight away. In these rare circumstances, we are happy to recommend other contract laboratories, but we repeat this happens only rarely.

Can I audit your facility?
Yes. Melbourn Scientific welcomes client audits of its facility. We are proud of our experienced and dedicated staff, state-of-the-art laboratories and associated facilities. We recognise that an on-site visit is an important part of making the decision to use us as your contract laboratory.
